Sheep shearing - Tundeida 2024

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, 300 sheep will return to the valley from the Alp Flix and will be greeted with a warm welcome at the traditional sheep shearing market in the heart of Savognin. During the shearing of the 300 sheep, market stalls all around offer regional products for sale and tasting, a show-swinging event is organized and, of course, musical interludes are not to be missed in addition to many other highlights - also for the little ones. The Pignaverde Foundation will present itself to the people of Savognin and guests for the first time at this atmospheric event with its own market stall and tell them about the joint project of the forestry and timber industry of the canton of Graubünden. The Pignaverde Foundation is a heartfelt project that works with committed foresters to initiate support projects for the conservation and protection of our regional mountain forest.

If you feel like it, you can try your hand at the self-made ball game at the market stall and test your skills. Under the motto "Together with Pignaverde for our protection forest and the next generations", children are invited to spend some time creating and designing their own wooden sheep for a contribution of CHF 10.00. The entire donation will be donated to a Pignaverde forest promotion project so that the next generation can also benefit from a healthy mountain forest.

The Pignaverde Foundation is looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors of all ages to the market stall and the "Pignaverde Creative Forest" in the heart of Savognin.
