Pioneering project "Riz" approved

In close cooperation with the Surses Forestry Office, the pioneering project "#01/2 Riz" was developed and launched on 26 September 2023. On 20 June 2024, the first project of the Pignaverde Foundation was successfully accepted.

Thanks to the measure implemented with the "#01/2 Riz" project, the mountain forest will be able to perform its original task in the long term and protect the Julier Pass road from debris flows, rockfalls and snow slides in a few years.
