Crafting for the forest

What a day! Saturday, October 5, 2024, could go down in history for the Pignaverde Foundation. On the occasion of the traditional sheep shearing, Pignaverde was able to arouse a great deal of interest and attracted remarkable attention.

At the traditional market stand, various communication tools were used to provide information about the joint project of the forestry and timber industry of the canton of Graubünden. The public was given a sympathetic introduction to the heartfelt project, which, together with committed foresters, initiates promotional projects for the preservation and protection of our regional mountain forest. Fortunately, Pignaverde met with great interest, welcomed numerous guests and held stimulating discussions. The self-built ball game was particularly popular.

The rush to the creative forest workshop was a real pleasure. Under the motto "Together for our protection forest and the next generations", numerous children, young people and adults took the opportunity to make their very own wooden sheep. The colorful and creative results were proudly presented at the Pignaverde stand and attracted the attention of visitors to this year's sheep shearing. For the Pignaverde Foundation, participation in this popular event was extremely gratifying and a great success. The foundation would like to thank all participants for the valuable encounters and the positive feedback.
